Support ANZAC Day from home & through appeal

With the COVID-19 Virus affecting all ANZAC Day events this year, it will also disadvantage the Veterans, Serving Members and their families of funds needed to support them. There will be limited collectors, collection tins are also very limited in businesses and no badges for ANZAC Day Services.

The RSL encourages you to acknowledge the sacrifices on this day. To make it easier for you to Commemorate is to follow the link https://bit.ly/3aSuhKr
This can take several forms including from your home, the end of your driveway or a balcony. This also gives you a guide to conducting your personal remembrance service.

Another option is by standing on your driveway or front lawn and partake in ABC 891 radio transmission of the Adelaide Dawn Service.

To allow the continual support to Veterans, Service Personal and their families in times of need, please also consider donating to the ANZAC APPEAL.

Tax deductible donations over $2.00 can be made through http://bit.ly/2U9uqUa or by visiting our website www.rslsa.org.au.

For those wishing to mark the occasion at home the following is a guide to conducting your own service of commemoration and more can be found at http://rslsa.org.au/light-up-the-dawn/

Use your own words of reflection, name people you remember today, give gratitude for those who served and sacrificed, and to those still serving our nation.

Recite the Ode:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
