Roos Club officially opened

The new Roos Club, a collaboration between Victor Harbor RSL Sub-branch and the Victor Harbor Football Club, was officially opened on Friday, March 1 by Senator Anne Ruston.

The project was jointly funded, with the Federal Government investing $500,000 through the Community Development Grants Programme and $101,200 through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs; the South Australian Government provided $240,000 and the Victor Harbor RSL and Football Club Incorporated contributed $567,891. 

The Roos Club was built by local company South Coast Constructions utilising local sub-contractors.
