Victor Harbor Remembrance Day 2019

There was a large turn out of young and old at the Victor Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony at Soldiers Memorial Gardens. RSL President David Miller and Pastor Lew Saunders ran the service and were joined by the City of Victor Harbor Mayor Moira Jenkins, Victor Harbor Army Cadets and the City of Victor Harbor Band.

Students in Years 8 and 9 at Victor Harbor High School walked to Soldiers Memorial Gardens to join with the students from the Victor Harbor R-7 School to show respect and gratitude for those who served in war.

A heart-felt speech was delivered by David Miller during the service, indicating that this would be his last Remembrance Day as Victor Harbor RSL President. A full transcript of the speech is available in the November Newsletter located here.
