Victor Harbor RSL welcomes you
The Victor Harbor RSL Sub-Branch is located at The Roos Club in the grounds of Victor Harbor High School (corner of George Main and Bay Roads) Victor Harbor (opposite the City of Victor Harbor). The Roos Club is a shared use facility with the Victor Harbor Football Club and was opened in 2019.
The RSL (Returned and Services League) aims to ensure programs are in place for the well-being, care, compensation and commemoration of serving and ex-service Defence Force members and their dependents; and to promote government and community awareness of the need for a secure, stable and progressive Australia.
We further this mission by offering a range of social activities for not only veterans and their families, but also non-service people who support the aims and objectives of the organisation. You don’t have to have served, or be serving in a Defence Force service to be a member. A range of other membership options are available.
In line with Government legislation the RSL was closed on Wednesday 18th March for an undetermined period of time.
We are not expected to be open in time to put in place our AGM, due officially on 3rd June.
When we are officially able to reopen, we will give the required member and public notification of timing and agenda of such meeting.
One means of notification will be through our monthly newsletter. If you would like to receive this Newsletter and are not currently doing so, please notify the editor, Jason O’Malley at email@example.com and he will add you to the list.
Following the AGM we will update this website, and notify members by Newsletter as to what the RSL will look like going into the future.
